  • My Florida Experience

I went to all four parks, and hit a bunch of cool rides at Universal Studios, and came back with several souvenirs and a pair of very sore, swollen ankles.

I don't feel like documenting my whole trip, because I'm currently scrapbooking the trip (I went to Wal-Mart today and printed all of my pictures!) and that's taking enough energy out of me as it is, but I will list all the stuff I brought back:

--A House of Blues t-shirt for my dad,

--A WDW shirt with Mickey Mouse on it for my mom,

--A Pirates of the Carribean t-shirt for my sister,

--A POTC keychain for my sister,
(She just loves pirates, and she's also one of the few people not obsessed with Johnny Depp, for which I am truly thankful. Depp fans can get annoying.)

    --A 'Diabolo' toy,
(For those of you who went on the trip, this is one of those yoyo-like toys that were used by the little girl acrobats in the green outfits in the Cirque du Soleil show. It has two dowels connected by a string and you spin the toy on the string by moving the dowels up and down... does that even make sense? I'm still kind of tired from the busride.)

    --A Tinkerbell keychain,

    --A Disney Princess coloringbook,

--A Mickey Mouse t-shirt for myself,

    --A unicorn lolipop,
(one of those super-long ones on a stick. :P Yumm.)

--the pin I got from the music clinic on Sunday,
(it has a cute little treble clef on it. Awww. I don't know why it's cute, but it is. :] )

--Several soaps with Mickey on them that I stole from the hotel,

--My Disney, Universal Studios, and Cirque du Soliel tickets,

--and a 'Co-Pilot License' card that I got from a monorail driver!

    I think that's it... I actually didn't buy a lot, but I LOVE the stuff I have!

I'm going to start working on that coloring book now. It's SO adorable!

And I'm having Disney withdrawals, so I'm going to put in Cinderella or something. :P

  •  It's been a while since I've updated this stupid thing... so here I am.

Tis the day after Thanksgiving and all through the house, Not a creature is stirring. ...   Seriously. I'm home alone. Tis boring.

Courtney may be coming over later today, if she ever comes back from Debuque. x_x

  • Today has been an iffy day emotionally, but a rather fun day in all other aspects.

I got to sleep in, I finished a load of homework (and I still have more, but I feel good to get at least some of it done...), my daddy randomly bought me two graphioc novels at the bookstore (which is a first for me... I always have to pay for things myself.  =D), and uh... Yeah, that's about it.

I'd rather not recall the iffy parts to the day. I do realize "talking" can help you feel better, but I say 'Screw it, I'm just going to put it behind me.' ... or at least I'm going to try.

    Well... I suppose that's all.

    Love all around!

Have a cow ( or a bus... or both! ), and enjoy some Eskimo paradise everybody!!  =D

  • Remember, remember, the 5th of November
    The Gunpowder Treason and plot ;
I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason
    Should ever be forgot.
    Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
    'Twas his intent.
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below.
    Poor old England to overthrow.
By God's providence he was catch'd,
With a dark lantern and burning match
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, let the bells ring
Holloa boys, Holloa boys, God save the King!
    Hip hip Hoorah !
    Hip hip Hoorah !
A penny loaf to feed ol'Pope,
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down,
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar,'
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head,
Then we'll say: ol'Pope is dead.

I wanted to light a bonfire today, like they do in England on Guy Fawkes Day, but I only lit a candle... I think the concept still counts, though.

I'm not going to be obsessive and watch V for Vendetta a thousand times... I'm not even going to re-read the graphic novel or anything. I'm spending this evening in reflection, with a lit candle. Good enough, you think?

I always talk about how I really hate the "American" concept of living, and how I'm going to end up moving to Europe somewhere when I'm older, but despite that, I am happy I live in America where we are free to think, speak, and act as we so please... I know there are flaws with our system, but they're a lot less numerous than with some governements...

So that's my ramble for today...

Other than that... I had another performance for the school musical today... T'was fun. I really didn't do much besides....

I should've done homework, but I decided to be lazy.
